Following is an account of Borley Rectory, a Victorian-era mansion located in the village of Borley, Essex, England. The house gained a reputation for being haunted after numerous residents reported unnerving paranormal phenomena in the house and on its grounds. The rectory was investigated by Harry Price in 1937. Price, a paranormal investigator, described it as “The Most Haunted House in England.”
